So... sorry for the random post, but I'm incredibly bored.

I've been stuck at home the past few days. Why? Because I have shingles. I wouldn't wish them on anyone, ever. And my neck/shoulder/chest just won't stop hurting. To get my mind off the pain, I've been trying to sleep it off. That failed miserably, so I started watching a new (for me, at least) anime called Gungrave. (and now I'm annoyed that Firefox doesn't recognize the word anime, or the word Gungrave) It's really good so far! Brandon reminds me of my dad, kind of.

In other news, my breeding pair of A. avicularia (Guyana Pink-toed tarantulas) are absolutely precious. Kit (the male) shared his meal with Kat (the female) yesterday. it was adorable, and very very sweet. Can't wait to see how their offspring are! Kat has a temper, but Kit is the sweetest-natured spider I've ever seen. I'm really gonna miss him

Jasper's doing well, too. Seems like every time I hold him, he's bigger. Guess little corn snakes don't stay little forever, eh?

In other news, I'm really excited for college! I move in on August 29, but I only have an hour to do it (weird, huh? and stingy. an hour to move?!). My room mate is really cool though, and we got the fifth floor of our residence hall--so I'll more than likely get cell phone reception. I think I'm pretty much ready for it, and can't wait to get out of here! Being stuck with my mom and Tom has been a nightmare in and of itself, so college will be a relief.
